about

The stories of our ancestors lay deep within us. Forget the luxury of hopes and dreams. Their stories were about survival. They endured the elements, scarcity, the volatility of conflict. Their community was their welfare state. Their families were splints when their bodies and minds were broken. We turn to philosophy and religion to navigate the assault on our senses. We turn to each other.

Our story should be about those moments. The ones where our minds have the clarity to guide another through the storm. Soon the gales will shift. Then the time comes where we’re no longer the navigator. The hand we lifted now lifts ours. Our egos dance. The noise distorts through the passage of time. It will never change what’s true. When you need me I’m here. We will forever possess and fall into the arms of stoics.
